Unusual Shaped Planters
We’ve found these cool set of indoor planters from Metaphys. Designed by Japanese designer Chiaki Murata, they come in two separate models; Metaphys garden “picture” and Metaphys garden “factory”.
According to the designers, the plant pots have been designed to offer you the pleasure of watching the stages of a plant growth and at the same time let you to enjoy the contrast between the plants and the scenery which you can see through the planter if it’s placed by a window. However, if you want, the units can be kept on a table, hung on the wall or even stacked on top of each other.
Moreover, each plant used here has been genetically modified, so that their growth will be no more than a specific height. In addition, the seeds are grown on a water retaining gel applied on the planter’s surface, meaning no soil is used in this design.
