Beauty of Coca-Cola Labels

These beautiful handbags are a result of a partnership between Coca-Cola and Ecoist, a Miami-based company that creates handbags out of waste material. Made from repurposed misprinted and discontinued bottle labels, the line is a classic, limited edition collection that is created by using few hundred to few thousand labels. Each item is handcrafted by skilled artisans of a fair trade women’s cooperative in Peru, through a proprietary method which involves cutting, folding, weaving and sewing.
In addition, the partnership between two companies claims to plant a tree for every bag sold.
