Initially appeared as a student project at the University of Houston, Recompute is an eco-friendly desktop computer case which is almost entirely made from die cut C-flute corrugated cardboard, laminated together with non toxic white glue. Therefore, it’s easier to manufacture and requires lesser amount of infrastructure, resources, tooling, labor, processes, and energy.
Since the case is treated with a Non Toxic UL tested flame retardant made by ‘Flame Seal’, it’s less likely to catch a fire or being damaged by a flame.
